Maeven Chef Cancellation Policy

Vacation policy: As a courtesy to your chef, if you know in advance that you will be away on vacation and do not require your weekly meal prep service, we request that you provide us with a minimum of 4 weeks' notice. This allows us sufficient time to adjust our schedules and maintain employment consistency for our chefs who work on an hourly basis. Please notify your chef via text or email. You may also email us maevenchef@gmail.com. Failure to advise of us vacation plans, may result in your scheduled time slot being allocated to another customer.

Notice Required for last minute cancellation: As a valued customer of Maeven Chef, we ask that you provide us with notice at least 48 hours notice prior to any pause in service or cancellation of your scheduled services. Please notify your chef via text or email. You may also email us at maevenchef@gmail.com. Failure to advise us 48 hours in advance will result in a late cancellation charge. In some cases, we may be able to work with you and provide a drop-off service or re-schedule to a different day.

For standard half-day sessions the charge is our minimum service amount of $150 plus HST, and for full day sessions will be $300 plus HST.

Chef Substitution: While we always strive to provide you with the chef of your choice, unforeseen circumstances may arise that prevent your preferred chef from being available for your scheduled service. In such cases, we reserve the right to substitute your chef with another equally qualified professional, without any liability or additional charge to you.
