Cost:

Our meal prep service is $60/hour plus HST. The minimum time is 3.5 hours, the average session lasts 4-5 hours based on the dishes chosen. These dishes can include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack/dessert options; you can let us know how we can help.

While this is not an insignificant amount to spend on your meals, it’s a commitment to healthy, delicious food customized to your preferences. Our pricing allows us to pay our chefs a great living wage and grow sustainably to help more families.

-Healthy eating is seriously easy when a chef can source the best ingredients and cook them for you in your home. We cook for nutritionists, athletes, doctors, and personal trainers who say our service is life changing

-Using our meal prep service saves a huge amount of time for our clients; they don’t have to spend their weekends in line at the grocery store or wait for a delivery driver to drop off food. Unlike many meal kit companies, all of our dishes are freshly cooked and ready to heat

-We can accommodate any special diets, preferences, and allergies (unlike ready-made meal delivery companies and restaurants) as we use whole foods and customized recipes. Our service works for everyone from a picky toddler to an elderly person who needs some extra help in the kitchen

-Our chefs buy only what they need to make the dishes you’ve chosen and cook everything right after purchasing to maximize freshness and minimize food waste

How it works:

  1. You will fill out a short survey that gives us insight into how we can customize our service to best suit your household. We will send you a customized list of menu suggestions to choose from based on your answers.

  2. We will choose a time slot and book your first session. Our service is a weekly standing appointment with your chef so you’ll have consistency each week.

  3. Your Maeven Chef will arrive with the groceries, cook everything you’ve chosen and store all the dishes in labelled containers for you to enjoy throughout the week.

  4. We build out a list of options for you to choose from each week, adjusting seasoning and portions based on your feedback
