About
Maeven Chef was created by Marijke Terry. After years working in restaurants and for private clients, she wanted to share her talents and love of hospitality with her community in Port Credit, her hometown. Some of Marijke’s most formative roles have been at La Banane, Farm’r, and The Chase in Toronto and Yotam Ottolenghi’s flagship deli in London, U.K.
There’s a kind of magic that can happen across a dinner table over a fantastic meal. Maeven Chef ‘s mission is to bring that to your home through our weekly meal prep and dinner party experiences.

Marina Babaian
Marina Babaian is a chef with over 15 years of culinary experience, known for bringing comfort to life through cuisine. Her meals do more than nourish the body—they speak to the soul. For her, food is never just sustenance; it is memory, togetherness, and the joy of shared flavors. Every dish she creates is an invitation to feel at home, no matter where you are.
Cooking, for Marina, is more than technique—it is storytelling through flavor. Each plate carries a narrative: memories rekindled, time shared, and comfort expressed in every bite. She has a gift for transforming simple ingredients into something magical, weaving aromatic spices, fresh herbs, and the rhythm of the kitchen together like music.
Step into her kitchen and you’ll find a place where mood, melody, and flavor converge. A good song, a joyful spirit, and a swirl of spices are all it takes for Marina to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. That is the magic of her food: it connects, comforts, and reminds us that we belong.
